2025 Graduate Spotlight: Jackson Scott

2025 Graduate Spotlight: Jackson Scott

May 15, 2025

Jackson Scott’s journey at the Baker School has been marked by significant achievements. Graduating with a Master of Public Policy and a graduate certificate in national security, he deepened his expertise in national security through his coursework and his involvement in the Washington Fellows Program. He also participated in the Indo-Pacific Security Studies Working Group and served as a graduate teaching assistant.

One of his proudest moments at the Baker School was presenting his capstone project on Capitol Hill to the Office of Senator Bill Hagerty’s national security team. Jackson is now prepared to step into his future career, where he aims to apply the knowledge and skills he has gained as he plans to work for the federal government.

Reflecting on his time at the Baker School, Jackson says, “My time at the Baker School has been extremely formative. I have been able to deepen my knowledge about my topics of interest and grow skills directly applicable to the workforce.”

With the experiences and connections Jackson gained at the Baker School, he is geared up for success as he transitions into the next chapter.
