2025 Graduate Spotlight: Sarah Harper
With a foundation in public policy and a passion for service and a Master of Public Administration, Sarah Harper is taking the next step in her academic journey by attending Lincoln Memorial University’s Duncan School of Law on a merit scholarship.
At the University of Tennessee, Sarah was involved with the Baker Scholars program, Baker School Student Association, and Vols Vote. She was named a 2024 Volunteer of Distinction, completed undergraduate research through the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences, and was selected as a 2024–2025 Women’s Public Leadership Network Nonprofit Fellow. She also served as a graduate teaching assistant for the Institute of American Civics.
“My time at the Baker School has exposed me to opportunities and personalized attention that I would not have gotten elsewhere,” Sarah states. “I’ve had the chance to network with all sorts of people and received one-on-one mentorship that has been incredibly impactful.”
As she begins law school this fall, Sarah is excited to continue growing as a leader and public servant.
