2025 Graduate Spotlight: Szaviea Wynn
Szaviea Wynn is graduating with a degree in sociology and English and preparing to enter the workforce full-time and study for the LSAT.
Her time at the Baker School played a role in helping her develop the confidence and skills to engage in meaningful dialogue about politics at all levels. Through her academic work, particularly her role assisting Dr. Frankie Weaver with the Tennessee Civics Academy, Szaviea gained valuable insight into civic education and policy. She also took part in impactful programs such as the Institute Fellows and the Local Government Interns, further strengthening her understanding of public service.
Reflecting on her experience, Szaviea says, “The Baker School has provided me with the education necessary to be civically engaged and have important conversations pertaining to local, state, and federal politics with my fellow friends, family, and peers.”
With a strong academic foundation and a passion for civic engagement, Szaviea is well-prepared to take the next step in her journey.
