Boon and Scott Embark on Prestigious Summer Internships
Baker School graduate assistants Aom Boon and Jackson Scott have leveraged their education and experience to land prestigious summer internships.
Boon, who works with our Center for National Security and Foreign Affairs, is using her research experience as an intern for the East-West Center in Washington, D.C. Originally from Thailand, she is interested in U.S. policy priorities in the Indo-Pacific region, which her internship will allow her to explore.
Scott is using his experience as a graduate teaching assistant at the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies Regional Security Studies Internship Program this summer in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is most interested in the international environment he will be exposed to, with the Center hosting academics, governmental, and military personnel from the U.S. and Indo-Pacific region.
Both Boon and Scott are pursuing their Master of Public Policy at the Baker School. Follow the Baker School on social media to hear more about their internship experiences.
