National Security Forum – 2023 – 2024: U.S. – China Relations: National Security vs. Economic Engagement
The relationship between the U.S. and China, the two most powerful countries in the world, has become increasingly hostile and tense. While the economic ties through trade, investment, and supply chain continue to be critical for both countries, the political and security relationship is the lowest it has been in decades. In this lecture series, faculty from different departments across the UTK campus address various aspects of this difficult relationship. All lectures are held in the Toyota Auditorium at the Baker School or webcast live. Download Fall 2023 schedule.
