Though born in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Alex spent most of his life in Seattle, Washington. - Why He Became a Baker Ambassador
After a standout freshman year filled with faculty connections, student research, and even starting a student organization, Alex realized he was already an enthusiastic spokesperson for the Baker School. Becoming an Ambassador felt like a natural next step. - Involvement at the Institute of American Civics
Alex is also a proud Tocqueville Scholar, where he learned firsthand the power of forming strong friendships across political differences. For him, this program has been a lesson in the importance of civil dialogue. - Fun Fact
Alex’s hobbies are as diverse as they come—he plays in the UT Symphony, enjoys outdoor rock climbing, and has what he calls a “mild obsession” with strategy games.
