TN Civics Academy

The Baker School of Public Policy and Public Affairs and the University of Tennessee look forward to celebrating the 100th anniversary of Senator Howard H. Baker Jr.’s birth. Known as the “Great Conciliator” and famous for his Watergate question, Baker served as Senate Majority Leader, President Ronald Reagan’s Chief of Staff, and Ambassador to Japan. Please make plans to join us for events celebrating his legacy of bipartisanship and public service. Additional celebrations will be added.
