Undergraduate Programs
The Baker School undergraduate program brings together coursework from throughout the university in a setting that’s intellectually challenging, collaborative, and engaging.
You’ll graduate with solid skills and relevant experience, ready to begin building a career in government, nonprofit management, or a related field like public relations, law, or policy analysis.
Public Affairs Major
The Bachelors of Science in Public Affairs is a degree program designed to teach students the art and science of public problem solving.
Minor Programs
The Baker School has three minor programs: Public Affairs minor, Policy Analytics minor, and American Civics minor. Admission occurs on a rolling basis. Students at all levels are encouraged to consider whether the minor fits with their career goals and academic plans.
5-Year Accelerated Bachelors/Masters Program
This program allows a qualified undergraduate student to take up to 9 hours of approved graduate courses as a senior and have them count toward bachelor’s electives and the selected graduate program (MPP or MPA).

Living Learning Community
The Baker Living Learning Community (BLLC) provides first-year students interested in politics and public service with an instant community that will enrich their undergraduate experience. The BLLC is designed for first-year students who want to improve their understanding of our system of governance and public policy within an established mentored student support network.
