2023 Japanese Business Roundtable

Japanese Business Roundtable, February 28, 2023

This invitation-only Japanese Business Roundtable event will feature Consul General Yoichi Matsumoto, Consulate of Japan, Nashville. Guests from all over the state will join us to discuss the close business relationship between Japan and the State of Tennessee.

The day will start with opening remarks from Consul General Yoichi Matsumoto of Japan, Nashville. There will be four roundtable discussions moderated by UT campus leaders on supply chain, diversity, research, and talent engagement. There will be faculty lightning talks on energy, environment, sustainability, supply chain, and other research areas. Lunch will be provided with a keynote speaker. The day will conclude with a student poster session.

This event is cohosted and sponsored by the Center for Global Engagement, Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy, Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures, Division of Diversity and Engagement, Haslam College of Business, and the Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Development. This event is also sponsored by community partners, the Asian Culture Center of Tennessee and the Japan-America Society of Tennessee.
