Visiting Lecturer
Nathan Jeschke is a Visiting Lecturer at the Howard H. Baker Jr. School of Public Policy and Public Affairs at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He has expertise in hazard mitigation, local government, environmental policy, and crisis response. His research has appeared in leading journals such as Review of Policy Research, Policy Sciences, and Policy & Politics.
Jeschke has taught courses in research methods and environmental policy and contributed to collaborative studies on disaster resilience, public health response, and policy change. His applied policy experience includes work with the Detroit City Council President’s office, reflecting his commitment to informed decision-making and community engagement. He holds a Ph.D. in public affairs from the University of Colorado Denver.
